Lightwall receives »red dot design award«Yet another new innovation has entered the long list of prize-winning netvico products, receiving the renowned »red dot design« award in the category »product design 2008«. More than 3,000 products competed in this year’s competition, facing a top-class panel of judges. netvico’s lightwall not only convinced the jury with its »outstanding and creative design«, but also with its high level of functionality, ergonomics, longevity, and eco-friendliness, helping place the company once again among the top design hotbeds. As a cutting-edge advertising medium, the lightwall leaves hardly anything to be desired: the possibility of mounting several advertising sheets one behind the other and thereby achieving three-dimensional effects, as well as the minimal installation depth of 20cm and the sophisticated brightness control system make the lightwall a highly flexible and cost-efficient marketing tool which can be installed at any location. According to Professor Dr. Peter Zec, the initiator of the red dot design award, »the successful participation in a design competition can be a first indication for a product’s future commercial success«. However, netvico’s lightwall has already proven its potential and market maturity: at present, 77 department stores of Peek & Cloppenburg KG Düsseldorf all over Europe are equipped with 200 of netvico’s lightwalls. |
