Project report: “Fashion Week” glamour at Peek & Cloppenburg
| Six advertising/information pillars on a podium in the foyer of the Düsseldorf flagship store, five in the Berlin branch, and a 103-inch HD plasma display in each store window all formed part of an impressive multimedia ensemble. Each pillar displayed fashion videos for a particular label, bringing the Berlin fashion experience to life. Individual motifs on rear doors and panels provided another optical link to the “Fashion Week”. The video presentations on the large Panasonic HD plasma display were a particular highlight. Reflected on multiple mirrors surrounding the display and extending towards the store window, the projected advertising trailers gave passers-by the impression they were looking into a hall of mirrors. An adhesive film on the window panel meant that only the video and the reflections could be seen; anything that might impair the overall visual effect of the installation, such as the display casing, was thus hidden from view. |
