Project report: netvico technology at Peek & Cloppenburg’s »Weltstadthaus« in Berlin

Another milestone in the many years of collaboration between netvico and Peek & Cloppenburg KG Düsseldorf is the project at the fashion retailer’s new metropolitan masterpiece »Weltstadthaus« on Tauentzienstrasse.

None of the seven P&C department store buildings, all designed by international star architects, resembles the other. They do have one thing in common, however, and that is that they are not just places to shop. They are architectonic attractions, urban meeting points and visionary places of experience. As such, they offer the digital media developed by netvico an ideal platform to exploit their communications potential to the maximum.

The remodeling of the Berlin department store designed by Pritziger prize winner Gottfried Böhm gave Peek & Cloppenburg occasion to implement a comprehensive array of netvico communication technology. Almost the entire netvico product range has been installed. Nine floor indicators, eight POS displays, 21 light walls in the window and escalator areas, a 4-screen display and a movie theater for kids have been making a decisive contribution to the world of experience enjoyed by shoppers since the re-opening of the P&C department store in August last year.
