Success story for Kaiser’s Tengelmann and netvico: Milestone for customized in-store digital signage

A seasoned standard-setter in the food retail sector, netvico GmbH is celebrating yet another milestone with the installation of its 500th digital signage solution at Kaiser’s Tengelmann GmbH. A total of 200 branches now boast digital pillars and displays showing commercials, promotional offers and advertising clips. The key to the success of these digital signage solutions is that they are designed to blend in perfectly with the exclusive corporate design of the stores, with the media applications and featured content tailored to meet the needs of each individual product section. Powered by netvico’s »PlayEverywhere« software technology, these solutions create strong purchasing incentives.

 

The successful collaboration with Kaiser’s Tengelmann has its roots in netvico’s vision of tailoring its digital media precisely to supermarket specifications, providing wooden casings for the installations and maintaining the highest hygiene standards. This vision has now been implemented in 200 branches: 40" displays at fresh food counters (fresh meat, cured meat and cheese) and 40" double displays in fruit and vegetable as well as wine sections. Enticing 46" pillars have also been installed in the supermarkets’ foyers and in the Essen-Kettwig and Munich branches there are even 70" double standard pillars to emotionalize shoppers.

 

The content is administered by netvico and features current promotional campaigns and offers that are tailored to suit each individual product group. Logo and welcome commercials as well as brand and mood-setting images constitute the backbone of the digital content. netvico’s high-performance, award-winning »PlayEverywhere« software technology guarantees the simple and seamless operation of the installed media networks.
