Project report: netvico technology in IBM Conference Centers
The use of netvico’s PlayEverywhere2.0 software in IBM Forum Centers demonstrates once again that netvico really is «pioneering» the future. At seven locations in Germany IMB operates “IBM Forum Centers”, which offer the ideal environment for the presentation of groundbreaking IT solutions as well as for other events. These conference centers play host to more than 7,000 events with around 61,000 visitors a year.
A flexible and easily programmable guidance and information system is therefore a sine qua non for the smooth-running of these events. That’s why 80 electronic door plates and overview displays have been running with netvico’s software PlayEverwhere2.0 since February.
Despite the short lead-time, netvico succeeded in fulfilling IBM’s specific project requirements to its complete satisfaction. Not only was an interface to the Lotus Notes-based booking system implemented, but the content design was also tailored to the customer’s demands, e.g. in terms of CI conformity.
