LED floor netvico
In the Mannheim Peek & Cloppenburg fashion store, designed by the New York architect Richard Meier, the walkable LED floor by netvico has been initially used in early March 2007.
The pixel grid is freely adjustable between one and fifty millimetres, depending whether the floor is viewed from a limited or great height as for example from one of the escalators. Despite the limited construction height of 60 millimetres, the displays have an ultimate load of 500 kilograms per square metre and are able to display all standard media formats.
