Richnerstutz AG and netvico GmbH enable a new shopping experience in the Vögele Shoes branches

The Stuttgart-based technology expert netvico and the Aargau POS specialist Richnerstutz have jointly designed and implemented digital info points for the shoe retail chain Vögele Shoes. The info points give customers a unique shopping experience. If the preferred model is not available in the desired size and color in the branch, the customer can view the desired item at the info point and order it straight away - in the relevant branch or straight away free of charge. The successful team of netvico and Richnerstutz developed and installed the info points, which are already in use in ten branches. A further six sales outlets are currently being equipped, and more are planned. In addition to the info points, classic advertising displays round off the modern appearance of the branches.

The new Infopoints allow a simple and quick inventory query, which on the one hand makes the work of the sales staff easier and on the other hand can be used as sales support in customer meetings. With the Infopoints, customers have a significantly larger range of products available. For example, since the spring of 2017 even a relatively small branch like the one in Bern train station has been offering the entire range of over 4.000 models.

 

The entire range at your feet

Vögele Shoes customers can use the info points independently or with the support of the sales staff. If the desired size, color or model is currently not available on site, the Infopoint gives customers the option of ordering the right shoe directly on site, in one of the Vögele Shoes branches or free of charge at home with just a few clicks. The aim of this digital transformation is to offer an extended shop counter by linking online and offline and to enable the customer to benefit from both worlds.

 

The best of the online and offline world

“Customers come to our branches with great anticipation and curiosity. In order to make the shopping experience successful, we would like to make sure that the shoes of your choice in the right size are either in stock or available online. A visit to our branches is always a positive experience. Thanks to the new Infopoints from Richnerstutz and netvico, we are ideally linking our online and offline offers, ”explains Sabine Schwärzler, Head of E-Commerce at Vögele Shoes.

 

Recipe for success: "PlayEverywhere" software from netvico GmbH

An intuitive solution was developed based on the “PlayEverywhere” software, which enables a new shopping experience. That corresponds to today's needs. The proven software meets all requirements in the field of digital signage and omnichannel with the display of static images, animations or videos via the connection of third-party systems to complex interactive systems. Three to five infopoints per branch are integrated centrally and clearly visible in existing shelves. "The common goal in development was that the info points should be optically embedded in the existing shop infrastructure and support the uniform planning of new branches." says Peter Ellensohn from Richnerstutz.
