Specialist in digital user guidance - netvico creates digital route guidance for the Ludwigshafen library

The Stuttgart technology expert netvico GmbH has developed a digital route guidance and user guidance for visitors to the Ludwigshafen library and has thus successfully implemented professional guidance in the library system for the fourth time. For this purpose, 40 “displays are used, which have been integrated into the central information counters of the library. A 46 “stele is placed in the entrance area. The innovative wayfinding is based on the digital signage system from netvico and uses the award-winning netvico software “PlayEverywhere” to show visitors to the library an interactive map and other information. Users can enter the areas they are looking for using a search function and view them on the map.

The Ludwigshafen library commissioned the project of digital guidance as part of a complete renovation including renovation of its premises. In this way, the 40 “displays for displaying and using the digital signage could be integrated directly into the in-house information counters. On the clearly laid out screens, visitors will find an interactive map of the library via an easily understandable touch system. In addition, they can search specifically for events, book tips and individual library areas as well as call up live streams of events in the Ludwigshafen library.

Compatible with existing infrastructures

“The digital route guidance for the Ludwigshafen library is already the fourth interactive system that we have successfully implemented in the field of books and media. Experience shows that our solutions prove themselves to be outstanding in practical use - and at a very good price-performance ratio, ”said Christopher Colshorn, managing director of netvico.
