Aachen City Library
Library signage - One touch to the right bookshelf
After winning the tender, netvico realized a digital signage column for the public library in Aachen to help visitors find their way around. It runs netvico's own PlayEverywhere software.
The Aachen City Library was recently equipped with a digital signage system: An interactive 50-inch display now offers visitors orientation and directions through the library building. It was installed by netvico. After a public tender, the Stuttgart company was awarded the contract for the design, development and implementation of an information and control system.
The digital signage software PlayEverywhere, an in-house development by netvico, was used for this.
Thanks to simple operation, visitors can quickly find the integrated keyword search as well as event information and book presentations. Site plans and floor overviews are used for better orientation. In addition, thanks to the integrated switching function, visitors with restricted mobility can also use the system easily. In addition, it is possible to switch the application to English.
Netvico, a subsidiary of Richnerstutz, has already equipped several educational institutions with digital signage in the past, including city libraries in Munich, the library in Ludwigshafen and the adult education center in Duisburg.
